The dependency of early (EPR) and late phase (LPR) asthmatic reactions on eosinophils and effector functions such as degranulation

The data show that eosinophil activities are critical for allergen-induced bronchoconstriction and suggest that eosinophil effector function(s) such as immunoregulation of the pulmonary micro environment is critical for these inflammatory responses.
