Effect of anti-IgE therapy on atopic eczema symptoms in patients with asthma

The high-affinity receptor for IgE on myeloid dendritic cells has been shown to play a major role in AD. Since anti-IgE antibodies can reduce circulating free IgE and down regulate FcεRI expression, we examined the effect of anti-IgE therapy (omalizumab) on AD.
