Summary:Nationally representative U.S. data from the 2001-2006 National Health and Nutrition Examination and Survey (NHANES) were used to examine the relationship between obesity (BMI >= 30) and self-reported doctor diagnosis of current asthma among 13,970 adults age 20 and above with a logistic regression model controlling for age, race/ethnicity, gender, poverty income ratio, and current smoking.
