Symptom Free Day Improvement for Underserved Children in the Breathmobile Program: Is it Worth the Cost?
Symptom free days were calculated and direct medical cost savings attributable to decreased Emergency Department (ED) visits and hospitalizations (post-program utilization vs. pre-year) were compared to direct annual costs of operating the program and estimated medication costs.
