Effects of Stress Hormones on Regulatory T cell (Treg) and Intracellular TH1/TH2 Cytokine Levels in Normal Human PBMC

Washed cells were incubated with PMA, ionomycin and monensin for 5 hrs followed by fixation in 4% paraformaldehyde, addition of labeled antibodies for Tregs (CD4,CD25,Foxp3) or TH1/TH2 cells (CD4,IFNγ,IL-4) and permeabilization buffer, washing and resuspension in buffer for flow analysis.
