Description
Summary:First one sees the Swedish flag in light blue with the yellow cross, followed by the dark blue standard of Stockholm University, decorated with the heraldic emblem of a torch, three crowns and a laurel branch. [...]it is the creative act of a convincing appearance in front of the auditorium that makes the Rector comparable to a successful actor: to what extent does the Rector manage to deliver a celebratory speech for the graduation ceremony? [...]it is the turn of the ordinary doctors, and for each doctor, the usher presents a rolled up document with the person's name printed on it, which is read aloud so everybody in the hall can hear it. Since all the prerequisites are part of this playing culture - albeit not particularly academic - I will briefly comment on these elements.
