Synthesis and in vivo PET imaging studies with [ 11C]BU4033, a potential delta opioid imaging agent
Rats were anesthetized (isoflurane), a tail vein catheter was inserted, and the animals were imaged for 1 h following bolus i.v. injection of radiotracer. Monkey brain imaging showed clear uptake and retention of radiotracer in striatum, cortex and thalamus, with low concentrations in cerebellum.
