Summary:Information technology is continually evolving and transforming itself, and at this pace, it continues its strong flow towards companies' business strategies, requiring a continuous improvement on the part of its managers, a juggling of costs, increased efficiency of processes, and the ability to deal with market uncertainties and the opportunities to be pursued, as well as those achieved or overcome. It is within this universe that Global Six is inserted; a new company in the consultancy and technology solutions sector, born out of a coming together of specialized professionals who were willing to step out in boldness and take on new challenges. The protagonist of this teaching case and of the history of Global Six is Ronaldo de Almeida Vitória, a former employee of a large national bank, who gave wings to the dream of having his own business, faced challenges, took calculated risks, and relied on his entrepreneurial skills, and those of his associates, to create a company focused on providing solutions based on cutting edge technology and process innovation.
