Summary: | We calculate the magnetic field and sheet-current density distribution for a thin-film superconducting circular washer carrying a radial transport current. Our calculations show that applying a radial transport current to a washer containing remanent flux in zero field will cause the magnetic flux to be expelled from the sample. Moreover, the magnetic flux profiles of several superconducting washers of different radii are compared. The two components of the magnetic flux densities on the top of the washer for several radial currents are also presented. |
