Summary:The Continuing Nursing Management (CNM) that integrates medical care and life has become inevitable since the number of patients with chronic illness has increased as Japan's senior population rise. To train the nurses who have competence and skill to qualify for CNM, they have built and established an educational program. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the participants' program and to change the awareness concerning the CNM. Evaluation sheet was distributed to the participants after the training. On the evaluation sheet, 20 training items were indicated, and the participants marked in five Likert scales for each item. As for the research cooperation, ethical consideration was explained in writing, and the research was conducted with the participants' consent. As a result, 20 nurses who participated the program has grasped the idea of the CNM, and made some new discoveries on the continuing care. Furthermore, they have desired to utilize the program at care sites.
