Summary:Hariharan presents new tools for applied aerodynamics in 2013. The NASA Rotary Wing Program, in cooperation with the Army, conducted an extensive wind tunnel campaign to examine the reduction of fuselage drag and download on a generic helicopter fuselage and rotor using active flow control. Meanwhile, Sikorsky Aircraft is evaluating HPCMP CREATE-AV Helios software by using it on the Sikorsky coaxial X2TD aircraft.
