Summary: | The purpose of this essay is to analyze how the Freirean Pedagogy contributes to the development of entrepreneurial professionals in the field of Management. The theoretical foundation is based on issues of Freirean Pedagogy, entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship education and teaching courses in Management. A comparison of entrepreneurship education with the pedagogy of Paulo Freire was taken in order to identify the converging aspects and possible contribution of this pedagogy for developing entrepreneurial professionals in Higher Education Institutions (HEI), more specifically the Administration course. Was identified that entrepreneurial education emphasizes behaviors and attitudes, involving the development of key capabilities in a larger context that the business making technical and scientific knowledge, seeking self-realization and appreciation of the being of the community, factors that converge directly with pedagogy proposed by Paulo Freire.
