Summary: | Bas-Pena reflects over some questions and situations affecting women globally; he has chosen some problems which affect immigrant women crossing the border to the US, as well as problems they face daily living in the US, for example at school and in the community. He also covers another reality of current importance as new paternities and it's relationship with educational practice, which demands the training of male-oriented educators, given the acknowledged lack of alternative male models. As a final thought, he proposes the training of university students in matters of gender as a part of Social Education. |
