The stimulating influence of thienopyrimidine compounds on the adenylyl cyclase signaling systems in the rat testes

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of newly synthesized analogues of Org43553, 5 amino N (tert butyl) 4 (3 (isonicotinamido)phe nyl) 2 (methylthio)thieno[2,3 d]pyrimidine 6 car boxamide (compound 1) and 5 amine N (tert butyl) 2 (methylthio) 4 (3 (thiophen 3 carboxamido)phe nyl)t...

Description
Summary:The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of newly synthesized analogues of Org43553, 5 amino N (tert butyl) 4 (3 (isonicotinamido)phe nyl) 2 (methylthio)thieno[2,3 d]pyrimidine 6 car boxamide (compound 1) and 5 amine N (tert butyl) 2 (methylthio) 4 (3 (thiophen 3 carboxamido)phe nyl)thieno[2,3 d]pyrimidine 6 carboxamide (com pound 2) (Fig. 1) on the functional activity of LH sensitive adenylyl cyclase signaling system (ACSS) in rat testes. ACSS was selected as a study object because it is the main target of action of LH and thienopyrimidines[7] and mediates the most important biological effects of LH, including the regulation of synthesis and secretion of testosterone by Leydig cells.
