Description
Summary:Use of Level C personal protective equipment is an uncommon practice in the routine provision of nursing care. The Nebraska Biocontainment Unit (NBU) developed a procedure to instruct healthcare professionals in the use of Level C personal protective equipment for the care of a highly infectious patient. The complexity of the procedure necessitated the development of a step-by-step picture guided poster to educate staff in the proper sequencing and use of the equipment.
