Summary: | The hysteresis in a nanoelectromechanical resonator is a common nonlinear characteristic that can be induced with excessive driving power. In this reported work, the hysteresis was controlled with the resonance beam motion amplitude changed by additional DC voltage which leads to the Joule heating effect. The mechanical properties of the beam which can be changed by the Joule heating effect appeared to be closely related to the hysteresis. |
