Description
Summary:The development of antiangiogenic cancer treatments has provided the opportunity for breakthrough treatments for age-related macular degeneration. Local delivery treatment approaches for age-related macular degeneration, uveitis, proliferative vitreoretinopathy, diabetic macular edema, retinal vein occlusion, cytomegalovirus retinitis, and endophthalmitis are well described through a review of currently accepted treatments, ongoing clinical studies and future technology still in the early stages of conception.
