Summary:One of the most important purposes of each logistics system functioning is to define the desired security state. It should be noted that the various elements that refer to the security of the logistics system are related to a number of both external and internal conditions of the company. There is also a number of security areas dependent and independent from the company. On this basis, one can make a statement that the product itself, having specified characteristics and properties can affect the security of the logistics system. The article is an attempt to identify and describe the impact of logistics security conditions on vulnerability of product design, and consequently on the logistical efficiency of the product.
