Summary: | We have studied the tribological behavior of steel–steel friction couples in mineral oil with admixtures of small amounts of silver nanoparticles and their stabilizers. It is shown that oleic acid proves to be the most efficient admixture among all investigated substances and its joint action with silver nanoparticles guarantees the attainment of the lowest values of the friction coefficient. |
