Summary: | First described in 1989, it has been mostly described by case studies.2 DSRCT typically presents in young male patients with disseminated peritoneal disease involving the omentum. Nests of small round cells in clusters and sheets, scant cytoplasm, indistinct cell borders, prominent desmoplastic stroma, and hyperplastic stromal blood vessels are noted.3, 4 CD99 in this case is positive with a cytoplasmic granular pattern, not a membranous pattern as is typically seen in Ewing's sarcoma. |
