Characteristics and outcomes of critically ill cancer patients admitted to Korean intensive units: Multicenter study

Age, ECOG, need for mechanical ventilation, and SAPS3 were independently associated with inhospital mortality in patients with solid cancer, while the need for mechanical ventilation and SAPS3 were independent risk factor for fatal outcome in patients with hematological cancer.
