Summary: | Circuit of the classical transimpedance amplifier (TIA) is revised and improved circuit is developed. Analytical solutions for the classical and improved circuits are derived. Both circuits were built and their parameters were measured. An experiment results showed that improved TIA achieves 4.5 dB greater dynamic rage than the classical TIA at +50 °C and 12 dB greater at -10 °C.
