Summary:The article investigates the problems of investment institutions in the agrarian sector with their adverse affects on the volumes of investment. The need for the development of domestic investment and local institutional investors is emphasized. The state of financial intermediaries and their problems which constrain the relationship within the agrarian sector are analyzed. The directions of temporarily idle resources allocation for institutional investors are proposed.
