Summary: | Outdoor is the extension for children's indoor learning; therefore, playground serving as the children's exploration for aesthetics awareness is so important for children's growth and learning. However, most children's outdoor playground is planned under the adults' aesthetics perspective, ignoring children's needs in receiving experiential value. The article expounds on the interrelationship between children's playground experiential value and aesthetics education. With the discussion in the dilemma in the development of outdoor playground, the further practical suggestions are offered for related playground designers and early childhood education educators. |
