Summary: | Religion invites more and more on the workplace through a variety of claims (attitudes, uniforms, verbal claims, etc.) and issuers (a different hierarchical level and function). Companies seek therefore a reasoned reply and committed for several years on the manager of ways of the religious fact. This article first discusses the reasons for the rise of this issue in private organizations as well as the landmarks that surround the proposed solutions. Our research then distinguishes three types of responses (refusal, tolerance and accommodation) made by large companies in France, notably through the production of managerial guides. |
