Description
Summary:This paper examines the relationship of perceptions of ethics in the workplace to contextual/situational variables and to personal characteristics associated with individuals. Results from the analysis of data collected in a sample of 161 employees indicate that perceptions of ethical behaviors in the workplace are positively related to an individual-level variable, spirituality. Additionally, perceptions of ethical behaviors are positively associated with two contextual variables—training in ethics provided by an employer or a professional association, and the existence of a code of ethics.
