Description
Summary:Apart from other divisions, Europe, in its heart, is seriously destabilized by countervailing centripetal and centrifugal forces. Business leaders need to deeply understand these dynamics to construct meaningful scenarios of future glob al developments and successfully conduct business on this continent. As a reaction to the troubles in Europe, political leaders there, who succumb to various decision-making biases, strive for even closer integration, even though this remedy has already failed. If the countries of the "double-minded" Europe are not given full independence, greater upheavals are likely in their habitat, rendering them defenseless in a world that will be increasingly dominated by strong, single-minded nations. In view of Germany's pivotal role in Europe, this country needs to take the lead in initiating a wide-scale re-nationalization program.
