Description
Summary:The aim of the study is to investigate the effect of learning environments which is supported with dynamic mathematics software on pre-service mathematics teachers' technological pedagogical knowledge in terms of content, self-sufficiency and perceptions. For this purpose, activities were designed with Cabri 3D, Geogebra and Tinkerplots which are dynamic mathematics software(s) for different learning sub-areas. Participants of the study were composed of 132 pre-service elementary mathematics teachers. Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge Scale, Technological, Pedagogical and Content Knowledge Self-Confidence Scale and Perceptions for Technology Use in Teaching Mathematics Scale were used as data collection methods by pre-test and post-test designs. And semi- structured interviews were further conducted with 12 teacher candidates. Finding reveal that learning environments enhanced with dynamic mathematics software has provided a positive contribution in improvement of Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK), TPACK's self- efficiency and perception towards the use of technology.
