Summary: | Mexican revolutionaries overthrew the dictatorship of General Victoriano Huerta in the summer of 1914. Soon thereafter a new civil war broke out between two factions of the victorious rebels, headed by respectively Venustiano Carranza and Francisco “Pancho” Villa. This may have bearings on our understanding of the rupture between these revolutionary factions. |
