Description
Summary:F‐theory has the advantage that all the Yukawa couplings of grand unified theories are included and can be computed. The Yukawa couplings of charged matter multiplets are generated around codimension‐3 singularity points of a base but the geometry of F‐theory compactifications is much more complicated. We discuss the relation of several issues related to the up‐type Yukawa couplings. We also consider the right handed neutrinos in F‐theory models.
