Summary:If well-being has often been studied, there is little research on life satisfaction. In particular, the way that different products and services contribute to life satisfaction has scarcely been studied. The aim of this article is to check if satisfaction towards products or services has an effect on life satisfaction or if, in some cases, a dissatisfaction in life could come from a consumption of these products. The results show that different contributions of goods and services to life satisfaction exist : they can influence satisfaction, dissatisfaction, or the both.
