In a recent communication, Wang et al. reported measurements of the activity of Nb in dilute liquid Cu-Nb alloys in a relatively narrow range of temperature ranging from 1773 K to 1898 K (1500 C to 1625 C) using a gas/solid/liquid equilibrium technique.
