Summary: | We describe a case of malignant duodenocolic fistula in which after a radical resection of right hemicolectomy and pancreaticoduodenectomy, the duodenal defect was reconstructed using a conduit of transposed ileum. This technique, not previously described, offers an alternative to 'duodenal patching', which allows only limited duodenal resection, or gastroenterostomy with its attendant side-effects such as dumping syndrome. |
