Summary: | The main purpose of this review article is to increase the awareness about oral submucous fibrosis. It emphasizes the role of antioxidants such as lycopene, β-carotene, α-lipoic acid, α-tocopherol, selenium, and zinc, and their combined effects in antioxidation.
