Summary: | Carcinosarcoma (CS) of breast is a rare disease. Published reports provided little consensus about its clinical characteristics and optimal treatment protocols. Here we present a patient with CS of breast (mucinous carcinoma and malignant fibrous histiocytoma) and review related literature. Combined modality treatment (CMT) brings at least 2 year disease-free survival (DFS). Our case highlights the possibility of breast CS and helps to expand our understanding of this distinct breast malignancy. |
