Summary: | We study the effect of carbon (graphite, black, and various grades of activated coal), introduced into an electrolyte, on the texture of composite chromium deposits. Carbon does not change the crystallographic texture of chromium deposits but substantially affects its perfection. The change in the degree of perfection depends on the concentration and grade of coal, which, obviously, is connected with different actions of impurities. |
