Universal Surveillance versus Targeted Surveillance in Reduction of HA-MRSA in Endemic Setting
Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) is endemic in Singapore with about 50% of all Staphyloccus aureus isolates reported as MRSA. This study aims to determine the impact of universal MRSA screening in reducing healthcare-associated MRSA (HA-MRSA) in an acute tertiary care hospital.
