Description
Summary:Hand hygiene (HH) is recognized as an effective means of reducing healthcare associated infections. Acute care nurses are frequently the targets of interventions but less frequently consulted during the intervention planning stage. The purpose of this research was to use a preference survey to systematically identify the factors deemed most likely by nurses to encourage optimal HH compliance in healthcare settings, to help inform eventual intervention design.
