Description
Summary:In article number 1600583, Yong‐Hoon Kim, Jeung Ku Kang, and co‐workers describe core‐shell metal oxides with energy states enabling fast photo‐catalytic electron‐hole separation, where their shells are constructed to create the valence band maximum extending the photoactive spectrum for visible light absorption. These visible light sensitizing core‐shell photocatalysts allow efficient solar‐to‐fuel conversion of carbon dioxide into value‐added fuels such as methanol.
