Summary:The aim was to validate the content of a nursing instrument for the screening of overweight adolescents in schools. Methodological study conducted in three phases: construction of the "Overweight Screening Form for Adolescents in Schools"; psychometric evaluation by specialists; modification of instrument according to specialists' suggestions.
