Summary:The authors consider the macroeconomic situation that has been formed in Ukraine in the last two years. The attention is focused on the fact that under Russian occupation of Crimea, anti-terrorist operation in Donbas region, political and economic instability caused rapid devaluation of the national currency. Various investment tools for protection of hryvnia savings from depreciation are analyzed. We recommend to use the following available and appropriate instruments for investments in the current condition: the purchase of durable goods, real estate, investing in education and self-improvement.
