Description
Summary:Undoped, Fe and Fe+F doped SnO 2 thin films were deposited on glass substrates using a simplified spray pyrolysis technique. Structural, optical, electrical, surface morphlogical and magnetic properties of the films were studied using various analytical techniques like XRD, SEM, FTIR, Photoluminescence and VSM. From the XRD results, it is found that the tetragonal rutile structure of SnO 2 is unaltered with Fe and Fe+F doping. Formation of Sn–O bond was confirmed by FTIR analysis. The room temperature ferromagnetism is confirmed in all the samples. The ferromagnetic behavior is found to increase with Fe doping.
