Summary:As the touristic image is enhanced by MICE destinations, the MICE destinations form the major criteria in helping tourist industry flourish with greater social, economic and cultural impact. The study on the positive relationships between MICE destination attributes and the overall image formation on a quantitative approach by survey methods has revealed that the destination factor is a critical factor in travel decisions and a destination with attributes such as amenities, sufficient facilities for conventions & exhibitions, meeting room facilities basic services such as fire, police, water, etc. globally compete each other. The Meeting, Expositions, Events and Convention (MEEC) or otherwise called Meeting, Incentive, Convention, Exhibition (MICE) industry market has increased in importance since 2001 and very recently supply chain management plays a vital part in adding value to MICE industry. Today MICE considered with greatest regards and being one of the primary contributors to the regional and national economies, and with recognition of the criticality of Supply Chain's existence in MICE Industry, the growth of the conventions and convention industry has glimmered attentiveness of its economic significance to the local, state, and national economies. With India being no exception, this paper captures the "efficacy of supply chain in MICE tourism. This paper enhances on the organizers working in MICE and Supply chain, with the registered event attendees and casual Visitors, Exhibitors. Finally, the paper evaluates and captures the pulse of audience about the MICE industry and their experience and the role of supply chain effectiveness and thereby its value addition towards motivation and satisfaction in MICE. The paper also provides suggestions for further improvement on the Supply Chain for its better role in MICE and lists the focus areas for future understanding, research and development.
