Summary:The aim of the paper is to reflect on the condition of the research concerning gender issues in a culturally diverse society in Poland. After the political breakthrough in 1989, Poland emerged as a democratic state, where various categories of the Other came back to life. At the same time, new social minorities appeared. In the context of talking about issues of multiculturalism in Poland is a new aspect of gender, have not so much ignored, which overlooked in general discussions about the relationship between minority and dominant group.
