Brain Activity Elicited by Emotional Stimuli During a Verbal Working Memory Task: A Comparison of Healthy Adults and Patients with Chronic Schizophrenia

Here, we used functional MRI to examine the influence of emotion on verbal working memory in healthy adults and patients with chronic schizophrenia. Methods Eighteen healthy young adults and sixteen adult patients with chronic schizophrenic participated in this study.
