Description
Summary:A sensitive teacher may compensate for individual differences by using contrasting teaching techniques with different students. If a large number of students is involved, there may be grouping by ability. The CRIMEL project (Curriculum Revision and Instruction in Mathematics at the Elementary Level) provides a natural extension of these two approaches, especially with large numbers of students. The spirit of CRIMEL at Ohio State is to provide the individual student with mathematics instruction at a pace consistent with his ability, interests. and goals.
