Introduction to the Special Issue on Narrative in Writing Research in Memory of Carol Berkenkotter

This special issue on Narrative in Writing Research was conceived in 2015 in honor of Carol Berkenkotter and her extensive and influential body of work. Sadly, during production of the issue, on November 3, 2016, Professor Berkenkotter passed away. We now publish this issue in her memory.
