INFLAMMATORY RESPONSE AND INFARCTION SIZE ARE DECREASED WITH TICAGRELOR COMPARED TO CLOPIDOGREL IN PRIMARY PERCUTANEOUS CORONARY INTERVENTION
Maximum blood levels of creatine-kinase MB (CK-MB - measured every 8 hours for 48 hours from admission), C-reactive protein (CRP), fibrinogen and brain natriuretic peptide (BNP) measured after 24 and 48 hours from admission, were compared between patients who received ticagrelor and clopidogrel.
