Summary:The process and results of a thermodynamic analysis of C 8 isomer formation upon the alkylation of isobutene by olefins using thermobaric dependence and an information model are presented. The experimental data were used to determine the probability of reaction in the 1-3 MPa pressure range. No significant change in the Gibbs energy was found to occur at pressures above 1 MPa.
