Methods of Determining the Rates of Nucleation and Growth of Microdroplets During Formation of an Emulsion

Summary: | The feasibility of application of approaches of the theory of formal analogy of processes with restructuring of the original system for the study of the dynamics of emulsion formation due to supersaturation relative to equilibrium concentrations in ternary solutions is examined. The rates of generation of conversion centers and the linear rates of growth of emulsion droplet radius are determined. The obtained data helped solve a number of theoretical problems of producing water-containing fuel emulsions. |
